Urgent Update: Aso Rock #47 Billion Electric bill versus Solar Installation

URGENT UPDATE: The Federal Government has clarified its choice to set up solar panels at the Aso Rock Villa. Mustapha Abdulahi, the Director General of the Energy Commission of Nigeria, stated that it is not viable for the Aso Rock Villa to keep spending approximately ₦47 billion annually on electricity costs. He explained that this is the reason President Bola Tinubu sanctioned ₦10 billion for the solar power grid intended to supply energy to the presidential villa.

This is beginning to attract concerns and reactions.
